Valsartan is used alone or in combination with other blood pressure medications to treat high blood pressure. Increases life expectancy (reduces mortality) in patients with left ventricular dysfunction. It is also used in the treatment of NYHA II - V heart failure.
It is used for very mild to moderate blood pressure control alone or in combination with a thiazide diuretic, as well as in the treatment of severe hypertension that does not respond to other therapies. Captopril is used as an adjunct in heart failure, after myocardial infarction, and in renal impairment in patients with non-insulin dependent diabetes. Captopril is used after myocardial infarction in patients with left ventricular dysfunction as well as in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
A. This drug is an antiepileptic drug and is effective in the treatment of partial epilepsy with or without secondary generalization. It is also used as adjunctive therapy in patients who do not respond to or are resistant to common antiepileptic drugs. It is not suitable for abscess epilepsy. It is also used to treat neuropathic pain.
It is used to treat or prevent infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, pneumonia, toxoplasmosis and nocardiasis, and middle ear infections caused by sensitive microorganisms in children.
This drug is used for short-term treatment of duodenal ulcer for 8 weeks or its prevention, and for short-term treatment of gastric ulcer and alleviation of gastrointestinal side effects of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
