About Cinnamed Diba

Cinnamed Diba Company started its humble beginnings in 2007 as a pharmaceutical exports company dedicated to international sales of Iranian pharmaceuticals to Iraq and Afghanistan but it has evolved into a wholesale trade company in various fields of medical and laboratory products with partners and offices beyond its birthplace. We started our expansion in 2008 with establishing a subsidiary in Iraq under the registered name of Cinnamed Company in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The next expansion happened in 2011 when our US partner established our sister company in Florida, USA under the registered name of Miami Impex LLC. This US presence proved very effective and exceeded our expectations in boosting our US-Iraq trade and currently the sales of Miami Impex to Iraq overshadows our Iran-Iraq trade. Our scale of operation and expertise enable us to supply our customers with affordable prices for the right quality that suits the market we intend to have a share in.

INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE

Our subsidiary in Iraq has worked in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and laboratory equipments and reagents. During several years of its operation in Iraq we sold not only products from Iranian origin in Iraq but we also either re-exported from Iran or directly purchased through our subsidiary for Iraq market products from US, UK, Germany, China, Turkey, India, Italy and other countries.

Through our partner company in US we were able to launch our own brands of nutritional supplements, Vitanex & Life Vitamins, for Iraq and Iran markets respectively. Vitanex is marketed in Iraq since 2015 and it is a well-known brand over there with a range of commonly used nutritional supplements. We used to sell products of US company Universal Nutrition in sports and general lines since 2012 and we decided to draw on the lessons we learnt from selling their products in establishing our own line of Vitanex nutritional supplements through contract manufacturing.

PRODUCTS

Iran

Cinnamed Diba has its main office in North Tehran in Farmanie region, which is home to a number of foreign embassies in the capital. The office in Tehran handles export business from Iran to Iraq in addition to the main line of activity of the company, which is wholesale international trade of medical and laboratory products. The brands manufactured in Iran are:

Arbomed is a line of single use hospital clothing and operation drapes introduced in 2009.
Cinnapharma is generic antibiotics in oral and injectable forms manufactured in Exir Pharmaceutical Company for Southern Iraq market.
Cinova is a series of dried fruit products intended to be used by diabetics first designed in 2013.
Cinnalab is a line of laboratory consumables such as plastic test tubes and urine collection containers created in 2017.
Duron Medical is line of medical equipments such as different types of beds for use in clinics and hospitals introduced in 2018.
B’LaRose is men’s grooming products such as styling gels and hair building fibers introduced in 2019.

In addition to products exports from Iran, part of the operation in centered on exporting services for several labs located in Iraq. Cinnamed Diba has contracts with five referral labs in Iran in various medical laboratory fields and receives
blood samples from Iraq to be distributed among these labs according to their area of expertise and then the results of the tests are sent back electronically.

USA

Our partner company in US, Miami Impex with its office in Miami, Florida manufactures a line of nutritional supplements under the label of Vitanex in California. The line has eight products on the market and we are adding three weight loss and fertility products in 2020. In addition to nutritional supplements contract manufacturing, the US presence has enabled us supply a number of United Nations and NGOs tenders of medical and laboratory products. We also export refurbished laboratory analyzers from US and Europe to Iraq.

Iraq

Cinnamed Diba has business partnerships with two Iraqi companies that operate in the fields of pharmaceuticals and medical & laboratory supplies. These partnerships are older than a decade and has helped us keep a strong presence in Iraqi market with our own brands and in trades of other established brands. The company also owns 90% of the shares of the Farabi Medical Laboratory in Erbil, Iraq that is the main genetics center in North Iraq. We established the lab in 2013 and despite falling short of our expectations it is the referral center of the region and has exclusive agreements with Centogene of Germany and BGI Genomics of Hong Kong for advanced genetic tests for Iraq.

Cinnamed Company was a subsidiary of Cinnamed Diba in Iraq which started its operation in 2009 and we sold the company in 2015 to a Belgian firm
Arbo Medical Laboratory was a general medical laboratory established in 2010 and was sold to a local labs operator group in 2017
Icon Fitness Store was a wholly owned subsidiary store for sports supplements and fitness equipments launched in 2011 and ceased operation in 2014
Farabi Medical Laboratory is a genetics center which started in 2013 and it’s the main genetics lab in North Iraq
The Rose Clinic is a specialty medical clinic started in 2013 in partnership with two expat doctors and was sold to local operators in 2015
