Indications
Metronidazole is used to treat anaerobic infections (including dental infections), eradication of Helicobacter pylori, and protozoan infections. It is used to treat bacterial vaginosis caused by Haemophilus or Gardenela or Corynebacterium, nonspecific vaginitis, and anaerobic vaginosis.
