Pharmacokinetics of piroxicam
It is quickly absorbed after oral consumption. The hepatic metabolism of the drug is extensive and is excreted in the urine and feces with an average half-life of 50 hours.
Contraindications to the use of piroxicam
This drug is strictly forbidden in the third trimester of pregnancy and is classified as a group X drug and may cause fetal death or organ failure.
It should not be used if you have a history of severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis or angioedema due to aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or nasal polyps with bronchospasm due to aspirin.

Hematology and oncology: anemia, prolonged bleeding time
Liver: Increased liver enzymes
Phone: tinnitus
Renal: Renal dysfunction
