Indications
Rabprazole is used in the treatment of benign gastric and duodenal ulcers, Helicobacter pylori ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, gastric acid reduction in surgery, and short-term prevention of gastric contents recurrence and treatment of the disease.
It can be used to treat indigestion and reflex disease, as well as to prevent and treat NSAID-related wounds.
In people who need chronic NSAIDs, the amount of omeprazole does not decrease after the wound has healed because there is a possibility of asymptomatic wound progression.
It may mask the symptoms of stomach cancer, and in high-risk people, they should be checked for stomach cancer before starting treatment.
It can be used to reduce the breakdown of pancreatic enzyme supplements in patients with cystic fibrosis.
