Indications

It is a carboxylic acid derivative of pyrolanzin that is structurally similar to indomethacin.

Indications:

It is an NSAID and is primarily used as an analgesic. Its trametamol salt is given as an intramuscular, intravenous or oral injection and is used to treat moderate to severe postoperative pain in the short term. Due to the high prevalence of side effects, its use is limited. The maximum recommended period in the UK is in the form of an injection for 2 days and treatment should be converted to oral therapy as soon as possible. In the United States, the duration of injectable and oral use should not exceed 5 days.
